Overview
This policy covers irldata.co and the Luma co-attendee exporter Chrome extension published by Andrew Teesdale, Jr. The extension exports publicly visible Luma attendee profile information to a CSV file that is saved to your own computer.
What The Extension Does
When you are on a Luma event page at luma.com or lu.ma and click the Export CSV button injected by the extension, it:
- Reads the attendee profile links currently visible in the page's DOM.
- Fetches each visible profile page at luma.com or lu.ma, which are the same pages anyone with the link can already open in a browser.
- Parses the public name, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn links shown on each profile.
- Writes the result to a CSV that is downloaded directly to your device.
Data The Extension Handles
- Names displayed on public Luma profiles.
- Public profile URLs on Luma, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn that profile owners display publicly.
- The current event URL and title, used as columns in the exported CSV.
The extension does not access data that is gated behind a login other than your own browser session on luma.com or lu.ma.
Website Email Gate
If you submit your email on irldata.co to unlock the extension link, we use that email to send product access and product updates about broader IRL event intelligence. We do not sell your email. We do not use it for advertising. No spam. Only signal.
Where Extension Data Goes
- The exported CSV stays on your device and is saved to your local Downloads folder.
- The extension does not send exported attendee data to a remote server operated by the developer.
- The extension does not collect analytics, telemetry, usage tracking, or advertising data.
- The extension does not show ads and does not share data with advertisers.
Permissions
Host permissions for https://luma.com/* and https://lu.ma/* are required so the content script can read the attendee list DOM and fetch individual public profile pages. No other host permissions are requested.
Third-Party Services
The extension only contacts luma.com and lu.ma to fetch publicly accessible profile pages. It does not contact any other service.
Your Control
You can stop the extension from running at any time by disabling or uninstalling it from chrome://extensions. Because extension-exported CSV data does not leave your device, there is no server-side exported attendee data to delete.
Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the Last updated date above will be revised.
